AssureCheck™ Multivariable Chemical Indicator is a type 4 chemical process indicator used to monitor steam sterilization processes within loads, ensuring an adequate exposure to the sterilizing agent during the sterilization process and allowing to distinguish between processed and unprocessed items. It consists of a one-side laminated punched paper with double strips printed with indicator ink. The indicator ink is sensitive to steam and changes color from yellow to dark brown or black when exposed to specific steam sterilization process parameters. It is suitable for use in gravity and dynamic air removal autoclave/steam sterilization cycles. Type 4 chemical indicators are used for monitoring the efficacy of steam sterilization processes in healthcare, food, pharmaceutical and medical environments
